The opportunity
Take full ownership of day-to-day finance operations: accounts payable/receivable, expense controls, cash flow tracking, and treasury planning.
Lead our monthly closing process and support the preparation of internal and investor reporting.
Help implement and optimize our finance stack (e.g., accounting, payments, reporting, and spend tools).
Support budgeting, forecasts, and scenario modeling.
Work with external accountants, tax advisors, and payroll providers to ensure compliance with Austrian and EU regulations.
Support investor relations: assist with the preparation of financial data and analysis
Lay the foundation for a scalable finance function by bringing structure, clarity, and automation to everything you touch.
Prepare applications for government grants and track project milestones

Job requirements
You bring :
2-5 years of experience in finance, ideally at a startup, scale-up, or top-tier accounting/consulting firm.
Hands-on experience of (Austrian) bookkeeping practices, monthly closes, reporting, and financial tooling.
Strong analytical mindset with financial modeling skills.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently, learn and grow fast, and manage multiple priorities.
Fluency in English and German
